Skills /hook-ups / resources thread

Hey there guys (and gals), I thought we could use a thread for us locals for deals or trades, on services or products or just free help on getting in some of those mods. I know there are alot of members out there that have skills or resources we could use...be it ..... stereo installs, tranny flushes, filter changes, maintenence, upgrade or mod install help, discounts on products..etc.

I myself would be willing to help out with any of the mods that I have done on my car...for free (ok maybe a beer or 10).......from changing clear corners, to helping someone put together a car pc and so on.

I can help with basic installs such as brakes, springs, and sway bars.

GizSF, I would be very interested in setting up a CarPuter. I would love any knowledge you can share from your setup.

I've done a small number of stereo installs before, so if someone has a straightforward job like adding an amp and sub, I can show you how to do it. For speaker installs, sound dampening, I could help out and advise.

I'm right in the middle of my stereo install, at the part where I just need to run speaker cables to the fronts and mount the speakers (mounting rings already made). I'm running 3 sets of 14awg cable into the door, so it's going to be a little more complicated. Would appreciate help (in about a wk or 2) if someone has time.

Shoot, I just got my G back, sold my civic and now have some cash for mods to play with. Want to do 10-wire GG, Ztube, clear corners and maybe mid-pipe. But, I'm have VERY limited mechanic skills and few tools. So any help would be very much appreciated. I can definately bring the beer. Maybe some chips too! LOL!

Maybe we can talk to Bobs and set up a mod day somewhere. Biggest problem will be finding a location. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a Kenstyle replica front bumper arriving next week, does anyone know of a good shop that can paint it for me, without charging an arm and a leg.
