I bought my wife another infinti for a summer car the car ran great we bought it in November drove till winter hit. I parked it in my shop stared it here and there I insured it went to fire it up battery was low but it fired right up. Went for a rip into town ran great shut it off at the store when I restarted it it ran rough lightly touching the pedal it would move anything any attempt to add throttle pressure it would cough and jerk.
Go the car home put the reader on it says cam sensor so I pulled them out used a sensor cleaner and put them back in with the negative terminal disconnected fired the car up ran great drove it to work which is 45km away shut it off drove home no issues shut the car off at the store went to leave and the car did the same thing rough ideal and jerking. bought cam sensors here in Canada cost me $300 repeated the steps as before.
drove the car back to work ran great was there for an hour started the car up and the problem was back. If I disconnect the negative turn the lights on to drain the system the problem goes away till I shut the car off again any ideas would be awesome love this car but its driving me crazy OH the only thing I did was put a new exhaust gasket in the drivers side from manifold to Y pipe
