Happy New Year.

What's at the top of your G37 mods/servicing list this year @Piersmorg18

For me, I want to check out this community on FB to see if there is any new content that we can leverage here on myG37: "https://www.facebook.com/groups/vq35hr.37vhr/"

I found this one while researching a VR30 transmission swap and there's a couple of pretty knowledgeable folks answering questions.

Other than that, I need to replace my front tires, shocks & Struts and paint my calipers this year. Thinking about creating a custom pass through into the trunk from the back seat to allow more of the bass to pass into the cabin. Essentially, cut an oval hole in the pass through to match that which goes into the trunk, then cover the hole with a grill of some sort that looks OEM.

Happy New Year also!

Sticking to @socketz67 's theme, i guess i have a good start on the new year as i have already replaced the tires and had an alignment.

And considering the price of tires now, plus a shop-hour alignment due to suspension mods, i believe i have burned through my annual car budget and its not a full week into January...

Agree. I replaced the front tires today and new Pilot Sport 4S tires are $289 each! If you can even find them as they are on back order nationwide. That's about $50 per tire than I paid for the rears a little over a year ago, and closer to $80 more per tire than what I paid for the prior fronts 3.5 years ago. Rears seem to last 1/2 as long as the front, but I got a full 20K miles out of the fronts and they still had about 1-2mm on the inner tread, outer was 3-4mm. I think the OEM staggered sizes are becoming harder to find.
