Have owned two G37s (first 2011 red coupe for the Mrs., 2nd 2013 blue coupe for my daughter) and other than the wanting to beat the Nissan engineer that came up with plastic bulkhead sunroof drain connectors about the head and shoulder with a baseball bat we have loved the car.
Both were kept all stock. Traded my wife's in 2013 for her C6 Grandsport corvette and still have my daughter's G37s which has been basically stored/.maintained for the last 5 years while she has been doing her Dr. residency out of state.
The 2013 is immaculate with less than 80k miles and my daughter wants me to sell it for her since she won't need a car for several more years (lives downtown).
The question I have is anyone else experienced challenges with dealer appraisals because their online systems confuse a G37s with a standard Journey and end up giving stupid lowball buy bids?
My understanding is that the RAW colored 2013 Sport coupes were the rarest (relatively speaking) produced examples. You might have better luck with a private sale if your local dealers don't recognize how nice an example you have. Just for comparison, I bought my '13 XS coupe in the same color, with 90k on the odo two years ago for $15.5k. I would expect you could probably still get about that much for yours @80k.
I have actually listed it for Private Sale here for my daughter asking $16,500 because of recent upgrades (new tires, refurbed wheels, new sunroof panel/seal, etc). I also posted a current CarMax comp in Tyler Tx with 6k more miles than ours listed at $21k.
That's actually Blue Slate, (correction... Lapis Blue) and the interior is called Stone Leather. Seems like a fantastic car and priced right. Good story, too.
However, this area is not for selling cars, it's for new members to introduce themselves as they join the community. After you sell this car, you won't be around here anymore.
I'm going to close this thread, but not delete it. GLWS
