2011 g37s

I am working on a 2011 Infiniti g27s four door sedan. The car will not start will not crank key will not turn on. With the batt. in place the only thing that works is seates, clock, horn. All other elec. key ,dash, lights, windows no power will not work. I have 12volt ar inside fuse box, power at bcm, power at IPDM. Looked at all the grounds I can find. I replaced IPDM no change. Everybody talks about steering lock mod. I can not find one on this car. Have removed covers under steering wheel no mod.No lights on dash comes on at any time. Please Help.

If it is a 2011 it has a steering lock unless it was removed by previous owner or was in that "parts revision gray area/ transition." There is no definitive date when Nissan decided to phase out this damn thing.

Either way, are you able to turn the steering wheel at all? And, are there any lights on the cluster lit up?

Your car is a 2011. What year was the DONOR IPDM that you swapped in? This might make a big difference. Looking at your "old" IPDM, is there a 10amp fuse in the STEERING LOCK slot? How about the "new" IPDM?

If your wheel is free to turn then your car was in that transition period and the module does not apply. So, that is a plus.

Are you able to lock/unlock the doors with the fob? Do the headlights turn on when you turn the switch to ON, (not auto)?

Did you check all of the fuses in the driver side fuse block and at the battery positive terminal?

Right now everything points to the BCM as that has sole authority to turn the car ON/ACC/START, etc. Was there any evidence of water intrusion around the BCM area (passenger footwell)?

The key fob does nothing. Also no head lights at any time. And I thought about bcm how can i check that or can you without replacing it?
