Always lurked the forum but this is my first post. 2013 G37x. It's been a fun daily in the last 9 months I've owned it. In the near future I'll be redoing headliner, pillars, and trims black, and installing a reliable Carplay unit, and after that some basic performance mods & exhaust.
Mod list:
BC BR Coilovers
Hotchkiss Rear Swaybar
Z1 Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms
Z1 Adjustable Rear Camber Arms
Z1 Adjustable Read Traction Arms19x8.5 Coupe Wheels 245/40/R19 Front
19x9 245/40/R19 Rear + 20mm spacers.
If you guys have any mod suggestions, visually or performance-wise let me know.
Here's the G.
How the G looks now. When I first put the coils on. When I first got it
Maybe consider the OEM front bump spoiler (lip)? Unlike the one that fits the OEM sport bumper, the spoiler that fits the non-sport bumper is nice and subtle IMO.
I often suggest a window trim wrap as well, do either a gloss or matte black or dark grey, but I think the chrome looks just fine on your car.
I know LED might upgrades are pretty popular, like switchback turn signals. I’d recommend sticking with the popular brands there. The cheaper options found on eBay and Amazon tend to burn out or otherwise misoperate pretty quickly

Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely look into the lip. I actually did do the chrome delete, it's hard to tell on the top picture, but I did the DIY and I think it turned out nice. What exactly are switchback turn signals? I have the tail-as-turn but I'm not familiar with switchbacks.
Ah yep, missed it in the other pic. We are wheel twins (nice choice), both in DMV area no less…
Switchback turn signal bulbs illuminate white when your headlights or parking lights are on, but when you signal a turn, they blink amber. Similar to how turn signal lights on most modern cars work. And the LEDs give off a crisper light too. Just a cleaner look versus having the incandescent amber bulb on all the time. IMO of course

Saw your reply in my email but forgot to respond. Gonna order from diode dyamics once I get back go school from holiday. The G looks nice I like the murdered look especially with the gunmetal coupes over black. I'd say drop your G, but knowing you're in the DMV area now, I totally understand. Roads out here are crap. Looks amazing either way

Looking great

Always loved the sedans in this colour. The coupe wheels really fit nice with the body lines. I can't tell if that's a midnight grille or not, but its a easy visual upgrade if it's not. I personally think OEM+ looks best on the sedans, so in my eye's you're already off to a good start, nailing it.

thanks man, I actually did go get a black grille recently, but before it was oem. threw on a lip too.
