So im currently fixing up a g37 coupe. And i dont know what all i need for the 2 pin connector. Just need to connect the ballast to the wiring harness of the car.
You will likely have to do some cutting and splicing between the aftermarket unit and the cars harness. Being aftermarket they should still be "plug-and-play", however, without knowing more about these units we are flying blind here. Are you 100% you have the correct part? In any case, here is what we have:
This is the headlamp connector for the RIGHT (PASS) side:
Pin #5 should be a RED WIRE and this is your 12V+ that supplies power to the ballast when you turn the headlight switch ON. This should go TO the (+) wire on your headlight unit.
Pin #3 should be a BLACK WIRE and this is your GROUND WIRE for the ballast. This should go TO the (-) wire on your headlight unit.
NONE of this takes into account the hi-beam, turn signal, and city lights...
If you have not already, download the EXL section of the factory manual from here. This will have all the information you need to get everything wired up correctly.
