My car was hit in my parking spot and the driver ran off, so naturally I called insurance. The tow driver spoke no English and pulled off with my car on the front two wheels (also it was in park…with brake on)my gf got the pics before I could get to him and calling him proved useless since the communication barrier. What can I expect as far as damages it was driven nearly 50 miles from here to lot then to the shop it’s currently at. I’m beyond stressed this car is my job and it’s now possibly totaled because of the tow driver. What do I need to prepare myself for as far as damages???

 

Inform your insurance about this. They will have you take it to the dealer and have it looked over for any damages. If damages are present then they will file it on the towing company and get the money for it. The damages that could be caused is your front differential and transfer case. Also even with the car in park the front wheels will spin freely. Since the fluid inside the diff and transfer case are forward when being towed, the gears are not getting a lot of lubricant.
