I recently purchased a g37x sedan after I got my previous accord totaled. I remember a friend telling me that some mods are incompatible with the X models because of the extra space the AWD system takes up.
Can anyone let me know up to what extent this applies to? I cant imagine it affecting too much other than headers & exhaust.
The mods on my bucket list are: cold air intakes, headers, exhaust, coil overs, strut bars. (maybe a shift kit but I'm worried it might damage my car)
That should be a great choice of new ride, congratulations! I'm sure it will be getting only better with all the work you planned on it. Good luck and keep us posted!
There are plenty of options for AWD models, you should be able to do all of those planned upgrades with no issue! Motordyne makes an awd compatible exhaust. There are a couple forms on which headers fit the awd system. Personally unsure about the shift kit; but everything else should be great!
