Welcome.

Tons of resources available here and on the 370z forum. Got any pictures of the car? Would love to see it!

By my math, Rob gave you almost 2 hours to find this mystery car.

On my budget (10-14 kusd) for the car, I am finding mostly cars > 80k miles.
I understand that the history of the car maintenance (will request Infiniti checks) is important, but overall, should I expect a car that has lots of issues?

i am already considering gasket issues if older than 2012.
looking for 6MT

Oil gasket issues can still exist on newer motors too. If not the gasket then the bolts because they weren't torqued down properly from the factory. Search on the370z.com. Use the search feature on this forum as well, very helpful with tons of info.

Yes, I will have to be patient. Also, I have a back up car that I think would be as good as this for track days. A camaro V6 gen6 (alpha platform)

Also, tons of info here and 370z forum. Great informational material.

my plan is to focus more on the suspension/brakes side of the game.

The gasket issue happened to me twice. What is your timeframe of buying? Mine is a 2008 g37s coupe 6mt. I put in the stronger/better gallery gaskets.. if I decide I want to sell it i'll keep you in mind lol. Once the gallery gaskets are taken care of the car is pretty amazing. Just put in a new clutch this weekend too
