What is this?
That is nothing OEM/original to the car. That is something that was added aftermarket by the previous owner.
I was going to suggest a camera- but the G37 never came with a front camera and the OEM front camera option (JDM) kit doesn't put the front camera on the emblem.
- are there any wires attached to this "mystery device?"
- is it, possibly, one of those "deer whistle" things?
