Hey guys, just wanted to say hi. Proud owner of a new to me G37x sedan. My daily driver was previously a 2008 BMW 535xi which was fun after an intake and Cobb tuner but the constant issues with the car made the upkeep way too pricey. I have a pretty fast weekend car so I wanted another daily driver that has some pep and still be good in inclement weather so it was a pretty easy choice in the G.
There are some little quirks that bug the hell out of me like no auto tilt side mirror when in reverse the doors stay locked when you try to open them(the BMW would unlock on the second tug on the handle, no outside temp readout, USB music takes forever to load when starting up the car but overall I'm happy with it. It's a 2010 one owner with 73k miles on it. I wanted the pearl white with black interior and found the right deal. I have the dreaded catalytic converter rattle, at least I think I do I still have to put it up on the lift and check whether it's a heat shield or the converters but other than that the car is damn clean.
One question though. Do I have the sport package? I have the paddle shifters the wood grain trim and the rear spoiler. I'm still learning about all the different packages but I figured it would have an S badge on it.

Nice to see another 37x sedan on here. Try clicking through the dash options. I have the outside temp available on my '13.
Yeah I completely missed it. The lack of heated steering wheel is driving me nuts lol....loving the car though. Makes a nice daily driver to compliment the Camaro.
So, with my car having paddle shifters and the different finished interior do I have the sport package? I tried finding online VIN decoders but nothing really worked.

No, you don't. Sorry, Frosty.
A previous owner went an installed flappy paddles, and the Sport Package 18" wheels for some odd reason. However, you have the non-Sport front bumper, and the non-Sport side sills. The rear deck spoiler was an option, regardless of Sport Package. And the wood grain trim wasn't available with the Sport Package. Another typical tell would be the lack of sport bucket seats, although someone could have swapped those in too. Unlikely, and expensive, but they did want those duckfeet, so it's possible.

Previous owner was a 75 year old guy.. only owner lol.... highly unlikely he added them.
It's all good though, I didn't think the car had the package but wanted to be sure.

Actually, more likely that you'd think. Flappy paddles are a simple dealer install. Same goes for the Sport wheels. He probably asked for those things (and paid handsomely for them, too.)
As for being old... well, I'm getting pretty old, and have done quite a few things to my sedan that seem out of character for my age. It's all relative.
