Newbie here! I've always admired G's and finally pulled a trigger on getting one a few months ago. I bought an 09 G37 convertible (Bloomingdale edition). I like the car but I feel it's slightly less responsive than a regular coupe (correct me if wrong).
Anyways I've been heavily researching on this forum and finally decided to become a member to get wisdom on modding from all y'all experts
Going for HP gains and would love recommendations! This car is fully stock atm

Well, it is 400 pounds heavier, so yes, it's less responsive. To try and offset that added weight, Infiniti used shorter rear gears in the Vert 6MT... but not the 7AT. So if yours is an automatic, then absolutely it's less responsive, and noticeably so. Also, the Vert did not have limited slip, don't know why but it didn't. So if you're on OEM-sized A/S tires, there's only so much grip to be had.
Bloomingdale Edition, what's that? Those wheels look like they're from the 2010 Anniversary Edition Sedan.
Simply beautiful car, however, particularly with that red leather and the top down. It's gorgeous. Might want to look into a headlight lens restoration.

Welcome. It's less responsive because of the electronic throttle controls. I never drove a newer car with ETC that felt as responsive as older 90s cars. The red interior looks cool. Reminds me of cars from the 50s!

Yes, it's the same AE. I took this pic the day I bought this car. The headlights have been restored since then

I appreciate it! I joined mainly because of the forums I read and how involved everyone was.
