2005 G35 Owner Looking @ 2012 G37 Journey Sedan

Hey All, My name is Scott and I'm retiring my 2005 G35 with 270,000 miles. Was hoping for 300k but just mashed the front side and destroyed headlight assembly so I'm looking at a 2012 G37 Journey Sedan. Couple of questions:

1. The car I'm looking at has the Navigation Package so from this site 2012 Infiniti G37 Packages & Options | Automotive.com it looks like in order to have the Nav Package you have to have the Premium package. Is this correct in the real world? The reason why I'm asking this is that the car I'm checking out states it has the Nav Pkg but doesn't mention the Premium Pkg.

2. You can imagine I went though a lot of tires and brakes with 270,000 miles on my G35. My last brakes job I changed the rotors to slotted which helped out the warpage issue that I constantly had. I always thought the G35 pads were to small. So my thoughts are for the next brake change on the 2012 Journey Sedan to change to the "Sport" model calipers rotors and pads alike to prevent warpage because they are bigger. Your Thoughts?

Hi Scott,
Sorry to hear that your 35 ended like that, but had a great run!
If you have the Nav pkg I'm pretty sure that would include the Premium pkg.

I would definitely look for a 2012 G37S, if you can find the S pkg that includes much more than just the nice brakes.

Good luck w/ your search!
