I am the happy owner of a 2012 G37 Sport coupe. The car has 30K miles, is white with a stone interior, and has the automatic transmission. As far as I can tell, the car is bone stock.
Naturally, I joined this forum because of my interest in doing some performance and appearance upgrades. Thanks to GoFightNguyen for the excellent summary of mods withing certain budget amounts.
I am interested in the basic upgrades to start:
CAI
CBE
Sway bars
Lowering/coilovers
Other stuff I have not even thought about
Would be interested in what others have learned about the best sequence to tackle these based on their build process experiences. For example, if sway bars have to be taken off to install a CBE, does it make sense to do the exhaust before the sway bars? As a newbie, I am open to all guidance on how to move ahead.
I live north of Houston, and have easy access to the national forest and some great roads, so I want to get out on the road and see what the car can do.
I look forward to being a part of the forum and hearing from fellow members.

Nice rims!
I will also be jumping on the mod train in 2019. First will be rims and summer tires. Hopefully by fall it will be Stillen gen 3 CAI. Probably a cat back next year, depending on income.
Can someone give me (or direct me to) a primer on the stock brake system in the Sport package. I see things written about Akebono brakes being in the sport package, but just see the silver Infiniti brand on the calipers. Basically, I am just trying to understand what I have.

Ed, you have the premium brakes that Infiniti offers, they are officially known as the Sport brake pkg (which are made by Akebono). Rotors are 355mm front 350mm rear.
