Bought a Q60/G37 coupe
Hi guys! Just got a new-to-me 2014 INFINITI Q60.
I am concluding the lease on my 2016 GTI. The GTI was my first "German" car. I freaking loved the GTI! But, guess what? Like any German car, it broke. More than once. Recent one was the DSG trans failed at 20k miles. I was going to buy the car off-lease, I really love that car. But, the DSG trans was like $7k in warranty to replace.
Many years ago I had owned (2) 200SX S12 V6 SE's and (2) Z31 300ZX coupes. I truly miss the "good ol' days" of sporty Japanese coupes. Had a few Preludes too, loved those greatly also. Turns out Nissan still makes Japanese coupes, and I found the G37/Q60 to be very nice. Looked at Lexus RC350 but resale value is too high.
I also have a 2007 Titan that has been supremely reliable, so the choice for a Q60 is easy-peasy. My plans for the car are:
OEM rear spoiler (done)
OEM splash guards
Morimoto LED fogs
Weathertech Floormats
And just gonna take good care of it. Owned my Titan for 10+ years so far with no issues, hope to keep my Q60 at least as long!

My Q60 is somewhat simpler. I was surprised my steering column doesn't have a lock, only to find out that Nissan had big problems with that system and they abandoned it for my model year. My Q60 isn't much more advanced than my Titan, only has rear view camera and HID headlamps compared to my Titan. So, I hope my Q60 is as reliable as my Titan!
