Searching for a G coupe

Hello all, I just joined but have been a member at g35 driver years ago. I had a built motor turbo g35 in 2006 and have been through many, many cars since them (e92 M3 ESS 550, C63, GTR, Cooper S, 328i EVO X, ML 350. In the last couple years i have taken a break from cars and have had to travel for work a ton so it has put a damper on a fun car. My goal is to find a nice daily driver and i decided there isnt many things better than the G37 coupe out there, IMO. As my work schedule calms down a bit, i will deffinitely be getting a 17+ GTR (loved this car) but will have the G37 as a reliable daily driver that looks great and is fun! I am haveing a hard time finding anything that is priced well or is a 2010 or newer as i have heard that 2010+ are the years to get in the "s" trim. IS this accurate? i would love to narrow my search and find something soon. anyone have a sugguestion on where to look? or possibly, anyone selling one loocally? I am in Delray Beach Florda. Thank you all!

Welcome to the site. I can't speak for the best years to get, but I can say there are cars for sale in one of the Classifieds forums here.

Best of luck finding your G.

Welcome, nice list of sweet cars that you've been through
As far as coupes, not a whole lot of changes between 08+ except some interior/tech upgrades, performance and exterior is pretty similar throughout.

Only real ding for Gs prior to 2012 is the inferior oil gallery gasket, this has been a known problem that can cost $2k to R&R, so if you can up your budget to a 2012 price tier that might be worth considering.

Post up some pics of that group of cars if you have some to share.

yes. I have read about the gasket issue. The other things that turns me of from the earlier models is the low definition nav system. I will definitely consider a 2011+ but would have to be the sport model.

Yes. I did look in the classified section but all the "good ones" are sold. I will have to keep looking! wondering how imperative it is to find one with low miles or if higher mileage is ok.meaning, if they were taken care of, will they last many more miles?
