Hey guys, recently purchased a dope 13 g37 IPL and so far only has Stillen gen 3 long tube cold air intakes and a set of Stoptech Slotted and Drilled Rotors. I’m really looking to get this car fast. I’m looking forward for a GtHaus Meisterchaft exhaust system. But the real question here is.. Can I slap a Stillen Supercharger without having a the engine rebuilt? Buddy of mine at Sewell infiniti said he can do the job and does not need a rebuilt. My G has 30k miles on it with no mechanical problems. My goal is to reach atleast 500 whp... need help?

No need to rebuild the motor. I ve heard you can make 500whp on stock internals, if you have a manual trans. an auto can only make about 400whp.

 

my my tranny is auto sadly lol. I heard the Stillen supercharger will bump me to a 420-430 whp with a time after. My goal is to go beyond that surpass 500 without blowing up my whole engine

 

Sadly you'll have to rebuild your transmission to handle that power. I don't recommend a manual swap as it is just too much work and it's expensive. There is a company on the east coast that sells beefed up torque converters and some other internal trans parts that any trans shop can install for you. Those parts if im not mistaken will help your trans handle up to 700hp.
