Welcome J, glad you found us and nice sedan you picked up. What have you done & what's in store?

Thanks I'm glad to be back on a forum and actively modding a car.

So far I have installed LED's inside the car and installed a dash cam beside the mirror (to protect my investment). All of the wires hid so nicely. I know I'm going to enjoy this car even after these few small things.

I already have some springs on hand and I plan to get some wheels by the end of winter. If I can afford to, I'll get an intake and then a catback or some RHFC's.

This is my 3rd car (that I'm currently modding) and my daily, so I'll have to wrap up my other two project cars first, but that should take no time.

Edit: I also installed some paddle shifters. Nothing like some OEM add-ons to get me excited for the REAL mods.

Nice looking G and I'm sure with all mods you've planned it will be even better. Good luck!

Jeezer, I recently acquired my G as well. It looks like you have a tint on, do you know the percentages? Also, I am considering buying a paddle kit to install, how do you like it so far? Worth the money?

Mine has some very subtle tint. I believe it's just enough to block UV. I'd say maybe like 80% tint? I want to get about 35% eventually to darken it up some. As far as the paddle shifters go, I enjoy them and I use them on the daily, however the shift response is pretty slow so I plan on building a grounding kit to hopefully make it a little bit snappier. Worth the money, IMO.

Also, congrats on the new G!

Thanks! I have to agree with you. This color is incredible. The metallic finish looks like it's 10ft deep when you clean it up.

I've actually been looking for a dash cam. What kind did you get? any photos of the install?

I got this one because it has loop recording and runs off of a capacitor instead of a lithium battery.

Amazon Amazon

I used this to wire it up

Amazon Amazon

Ran the wires under the headliner and down the pillar to the fuse box.

View from the outside

Completely hidden from my view while driving (helps my OCD lmao)

I also did some other things to the G over the weekend....
