New G37x Owner

Hey everyone,

I've been a G owner for 5 months now, and I am absolutely loving it. I bought a 2013 G37X with about 33k miles on it. Its black obsidian with a black interior and is very clean inside and out. So far the only changes have been interior LED's and the addition of a ski rack & weathertech floor mats to survive the new england winter!

A couple pics below:

Nice looking G! Welcome to the site and nice to see it being used in the elements. How are you liking those weathertechs?

The weathertechs are great, definitely worth the money to save the infiniti mats from winter salt and grime

Thanks - on my list right now is converting fog lights to HIDs, painting the headlight housings and swapping to clear sti-r lenses & switchback LEDs, installing the tail as turn kit from DD, and possibly a rear-window spoiler. Wheels and tires down the road..

Those sound like some good mods! You should look into DD's LEDs for the fog lights, they are really good and they have different stages of brightness unless you're set on HIDs. They also have cool switchbacks that I have on as well makes it really modern! Well good luck!

I'm definitely open to LEDs as well, I have been looking through different threads on here to see what people seem to like better. My main goal is to color match everything as close as possible!

Any pictures of your setup with the LED fogs and switchbacks?

The DD Hids for the projector low beams, their LED fog lights, and LED switchbacks all color match at 6000k which is what I have all over even my interior lights haha. I'll take a few pics tonight and post them for you.

Here are a few pics. It's hard to take good pictures of lights haha but you somewhat get an idea. The first 3 are when I first turn the lights on so the HID low beams still haven't fully warmed up so they are a little off from the LED fogs and switchbacks white color. The orange light is when I put the turn signal on and the pic where that light is completely off is the second before the switchback turns back to that 6000k white. The last two pics are with the lights fully warmed up so they match all the way at 6000k. Hope this somewhat helps!

Also I forgot to mention the "city lights" the little bullet looking ones right about the low beam on the far top right of the housing. Those I also changed to 6000k LEDs.

No problem, the fog light install is a PITA for the windshield washer fluid reservior side haha just a heads up unless you get your car on a lift or high enough to go all the way under it. Also the switch backs for the splice its a bit confusing but let me know if you need help if and when you pull the trigger on anything.
