to introduce myself

I have posted a couple of times to this site for help. I've tried to give help but I'm at a loss about infiniti autos. I have hardly no memory from a couple of strokes during brain surgery a few years back so every visit is almost starting over. I can remember posting and getting replies but I used to get posts to my e mail address to notify me of replies to my queries. I've tried to post in the last few weeks but haven't been too lucky. One turned out to be private and I've never saw the other 2 tries. I have a question about the 2 rear sensors or cameras in the rear bumper. My brother owns a G 37x 2011 sedan. Someone hit his bumper and knocked one of the sensors inside the bumper. It beeps constantly while the car is in reverse. I want to do things correctly and not cause anyone need to dislike me or my posts. Would you kind people help me to get started again? And correctly please? How would I find the right place to post this? Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help. My e mail is John82654@gmail.com.

Give "sedan" section a go for technical questions:
G37 Sedan - MyG37

My guess is that you'd have to take the bumper off (potentially fix it?), pop the sensor back in, and theoretically it should stop beeping.

hanks! I was hoping I could somehow get in through the trunk, but that looked complicated possibly lifting up the trunk floor,so I could replace the sensor in the opening and epoxying it in place. Thanks again! Would you have any idea how I post the questions on the right forum? Thanks in advance!

You should have a blue "New thread" button on mid-left when Sedan page loads.

These bumpers are pretty bulbous so I don't see any way of getting to those sensors other than taking the bumper off.
