2011 g37 sedan mods
2011 g37 sedan mods
Hey guys I'm very new to this forum and my g37. I have owned cars similar to it in the past being a 2002 is300 and a 2010 is250 but never did I really want to add anything to those cars because I had always been more of an Ls truck kinda guy. I am open to suggestions on beginner mods that you guys like and would recommend, mainly before I touch the engine and the endless other things that can be done I would like to lower the car and add exhaust as some of the first things to be done to the car. When lowering I'd like to keep as much comfort with the ride as possible with it being my daily driver. Also with that in mind I would like mild to aggressive exhaust but not anything that is overwhelmingly loud I will post some pictures of the car soon and I look forward to what you guys have to say.
Welcome to the site, those IS300s still look good when I see them, not a fan of the 250s though.
I'd look into Tein Basis Z coilovers, they are a mild drop coilover that's bargain priced at under $500 shipped, they use the factory upper shock mounts (which can be a source for noise w/ coilovers that use non-oem mounts) and have spring rates the closest to stock rates so the ride won't be too jarring. I'd consider a rear camber/toe kit, it's pretty much a required for any drop over 1.25". Check the Sedan exhaust "sticky" thread in the Sedan folder for plenty of exhaust options/sound clips.
HTHs,
Brad
