Seat Position Help

Hey all,

New owner and new to this forum. I have a 2013 G37X AT w/o Nav. Anyway, I am having an issue where every time I get back in the car, I need to move my seat back to the preferred position. I am a taller guy, so I like it pushed all the way back. But, each time, the seat is slid up from the spot I left it.

Question is, how do I keep the car from moving the seat back another spot. I went through the steps in the owner's manual, but apparently did something wrong. I set my spot with the seat, wheel, and mirrors, and then pressed both set and the #1 button at the same time until they lit up. Not sure why it did not stick.

I feel like a moron, but would certainly love some help. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site, you need to press just the SET button until both #1 & #2 light up, you then select one of the two buttons for your setting and hold for a second, the number you pushed will light up for about 5 seconds. Here's the procedure link~

Worked perfectly! Thank you. It was a small thing, but nagging.

There's a convenience setting that links a remote to a desired position (#1 or #2). Probably best to just disable that altogether if you're the only driver. It's somewhere in the settings menu under convenience features.

Hey, thanks for mentioning this in case anyone else has issues. I did in fact disable that function early in the going. And yes, its in the settings menu under convenience.
