A lurker saying hi
Hey guys,
Long time lurker (6 months) and a recent owner of a 07 Silver G35 Sport Sedan.
Bought the car in September with 165,000 Km, painted wheels and Eibach Pro lowering springs from a G35Driver member. Used this site for the wealth of information when I was purchasing the car and can definitely say I made the correct choice.
I was cross-shopping a 07 Subaru Legacy B-Spec and a 07 Lexus IS250. Sat in the G35 and was intoxicated by the power, equipment and feel of the car.
Not new to Nissan, used to own a 02 Sentra Spec-V with complete exhaust and intake, was a fun little car to zip around in. Then moved to a 98 VW Passat. After getting married I lost my car, and we got a 14 Santa Fe for my wife to go to and from work on. This year wife gave me the green light to finally get something for myself.
Still on the fence about replacing the Eibachs with stock suspension. Winters in Winnipeg are brutal (especially this year) and I have been catching the plastic under-tray on anything higher than 1". But am loving the lowered look. Coil-overs might be done in the future, but that will most likely be closer to summer if life allows.
Looking forward to being part of this community, and I will post some better pictures of the car in the coming days.
Cheers!
Alex
