Smile New to forum

Just wanted to say hello. I'm new to the forums, and I just recently bought my first G 2 months ago in October. Its a black couple G37S 6MT. Ive had other VQ's (2 maximas), and love the power of these Nissan engines. I hope to be able to help out here, and also hope to get some opinions and help. Thanks!

You've made a great decision, congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the club! Do you have any particular mods in mind for it?

Thank you all! Yeah definitely wanting to do some mods. So far I've done the tire and rims, but I want some power adders on there soon. I tried making a custom intake, but learned the hard way that it doesnt work well with these cars. Im thinking I'll either go with something like the stillen or injen cold intake, or maybe start with some resonated test pipes and move my way to the back from there. Any suggestions for a first power adding mod?

If it's your DD, do a basic intake / exhaust and leave 'power adding' alone. Unless you go FI, you won't see much gain on these engines. Most mods will come with a tradeoff - you gain a bit on top, but lose mid/low, or vice versa.
