1st Infiniti (Not 1st Nissan)

So I just bought a semi-loved 2011 G37 base. I bought it based on pics from the dealership and the ad over 1100 miles away. Most everything was on point except on MAJOR thing. It was advertised as having a moon roof and it got here and there is none. I couldn't tell that from the pics. I've never seen this generation G w/o a sunroof so I never knew they DIDN'T have them!!

It also, though well maintained, appears that the PO loved to pull up on curbs, etc based on the scuffs/scratches. overall it's nice and I like it. It drives well, interior is super clean and I'll probably have a sunroof installed by a company here in town that does them for dealerships.

As for the Nissan, I had a 96 Maxima back in 99 and enjoyed it. Coming from 20 years of Euros - mainly BMWs (3,5 E39 Touring 5spd manual M sport, older 6 series, 7), mix in an Audi A6 2.7tt Quattro, Land Rover Disco II, Mercedes E320 and 190e 2.3-16v Cosworth, a couple of MkII VWs, aaaaaaand here I am... lol

Looking forward to getting this one looking as I would like. It's Smoky Quartz with Graphite interior.

Being picked up by the Shipper from TX

Starting it's 1100+ mile trek

You should opt for a polycarbonate roof like the one they had for the Lotus Elise. They had pre-tinted options too so it'd be like a panoramic roof

That would be cool, But I CONSTANTLY use the sunroof in my cars. This one will be getting one too.

I assume since my audio system is not a Navigation system too that my Bluetooth is only for phone conversations, correct? I don't care about Nav as much as I would like to be able to BT stream music.

The Bluetooth is realllllly buggy, I never use it. The USB port works way better (only if you have an iPhone), plus you can charge your phone at the same time

Welcome to the site, glad you found us. G/L with the sun roof addition, I'd imagine that won't be cheap. Glad you found a nice deal!

Yeah, thanks! The suroof (factory style) is about $1150, but that still keeps my overall price for the car including shipping well below NADA. So I don't mind

i would contact the seller (save a copy of the ad) and negotiate some cash back.

use that extra $ for some new wheels to replace the curb-rashed ones.

I've already done that my friend!
But I'm putting it toward the Moonroof. I've purchased an refinished wheels so many times it will not be a bad investment. But the roof is more costly for me

The Bluetooth IS buggy... Hard to get it to identify most names I speak and I have no real accent (from Cleveland OH)

So the USB doesn't work with the Android Platform? Is there anyway to stream music from my Phone? (Galaxy Note 5)
