So happy and super excited!! I finally get to hand wash my new baby! Picked it up from Universal City Nissan about a month ago.
It had some issues with the fuel sensors and the Infiniti dealer in Glendale tried to fix the issue, but when I got it back, I literally ran out of gas on the way home. The car said half a tank but in reality it had nothing! :0( The dealer then swapped out the cluster thinking that was the issue, but then realized the arm in the tank was defective AGAIN. When the dealer had it a second time and I got it back, the smell of gas was unbearable because I think they spilled a little on the carpet when they took off the back seat to get to them. I then parked it with all the windows down for a whole week. (It was really bad)
So offically I have had my car for 3 days! Without all the hoopla, I LUV the car. It has 31,000 miles and no scratches, dents or imperfections on the inside. I'll be here lurking for awhile now!
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your G!! The car looks beautiful and clean! I'm glad the dealer was FINALLY able to fix that gas issue and the gas smell is finally gone! Lol
Low millage with fuel issues? Was the car previously modified or you just got unlucky?
Did you take a look at the carfax / carcheck before buying? Just curious if anything showed up on there.
Nope, clear Carfax, I think I am prone to stuff happening all the time! Like I said, if you ever are in So Cal, go to Glendale Infiniti, Sam over there was sooo nice. I even had a Q50 as a loaner for both times my car was in the shop. Didn't like it, LUV my G!
As far as mods, I most definitely want to add some more noise on there. Not like a psycho rumble, but just like my old 350Z used to sound like.
Wow I miss that car!
I got the windows tinted on Saturday, was tired of the sun beaming in on me while driving home, I ordered some Hawk brakes from Import Parts Pro here on the forum and can't wait to install those.
I am seriously a girly girl, but I surely don't drive like no Grandma! And I take care of all my stuff, and like to fix anything that I can. So if I have to change my oil, I will change my oil!
Yeah, my old Z was the SH*T! LOL. She was done for when I got hit on the 710 freeway by a jack knifed Big Rig! It didn't hurt me, but the car was a goner
.
What made you go from a convertible to a coupe/sedan (cannot tell from the pic, but it has a sun roof so I'm assuming it's not foldable). There are plenty of low millage g37 verts out there - I found one recently and absolutely love it.
It's these 2's fault! I like to drag them along when I go hiking, so I just needed the room for them to spread out on the back seat.
Thank you everyone for welcoming me! And now I shall go on amazon to buy vinyl tape to cover all that damn chrome on the windows! I'll keep you guys posted in the other threads of my modding process.
Haha! We have a bigger version of that.. And another car for when we travel with her - full suv.
A convertible is for the 'parents' to have fun without the 'kid'.
