12 g37s vert
Hi all,
Picked up my first convertible last weekend - now suffering from a mild sunburn. It's definitely a different kind of experience and I'm loving it.
I've always had black cars, but decided to take a chance on a blue. It's a beautiful color and light seats are much easier on the heat.
I got most of my 'mod bug' out with a previous mazdaspeed6 and current r1 so this will stay mostly stock.
Crap picture for now - took it while sitting at the bar in myrtle beach on Saturday. I'm sure I'll be taking more as I go..

Looks clean! I'm glad you're liking it. My dad would love to live your life right now!! We visit myrtle beach every year and he rents a convertible. He's always talking about wanting to live there again...

Oh I was just visiting.. haha. I don't think beach life is for me just yet.
But I finally took a plunge on a vert instead of renting one when we travel.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on that beautiful vert! The good thing about our G's is they look amazing as is without the need for any real mods. Looking forward to more pics.
Nice car! I just bought a 435i vert (switched to the dark side) and had a similar experience with some mild sunburn the first few days. It's really enjoyable dropping the top - more than I expected. I feel the same way about modding, I feel like I got a lot of it out of my modding my G37 coupe. Well... the itch is starting already and I'm only about 3 weeks into ownership. If you plan on being active on this site, you're going to have a hard time resisting the mods!!!

Well put. I guess I'll take that as a complement. haha.
Since this is a shared car, my woman and I have an agreement to keep it comfortable / dd-able. I just have a few basics planned - tint, sways, wheels, lights, maybe a couple of other small things here and there like a spoiler, chrome cover / removal, etc.
