New Owner Colorado

Hello,

I purchased my 2008 G37S in June and have been mostly lurking around on the site since then. I did a ton of research before buying and planned to look at Mercedes and Audi too...until I drove the G. Talked the dealership into fixing anything my shop found within 30 days and got new brakes as a result (backing plates, rotors, pads). Even though she (Natsumi) has over 100K and no mods, I still get compliments on a regular basis.

I have been looking for G's on the road in Colorado and, although I have driven approximately 3000 miles, I have only seen 1 S. This greatly adds to its appeal in my book.

Anyway, I have already benefited from the expertise on this site (throttle body cleaning, window/idle position relearn) and I expect to refer to it often. Drop me a line if you're in Colorado so I know I'm not alone.

Mike

No, but did from 1964 thru 1978, and went to Cherry Creek High. Get up there now & then but really miss that place, live in Roswell New Mexico now, which is a huge downgrade.

I'm in Fort Collins...work in Loveland. My car is currently in the shop (Import Specialists) for a clutch issue. I bought it at Nissan Greeley and they really wanted to do the work, but they seem a little mystified by this vehicle. Asked if I wanted them to rotate tires when I took it in for the brakes (did not seem to realize the offset) and could not find the S in their system when quoting clutch work. I don't mean to dog on them because I was treated very well throughout the purchase process and brake repair, but I don't want to know more about my vehicle than the guy/gal working on it.
Are you in Northern Colorado?

Yeah I wouldn't trust them to work on my car honestly. It's kinda hard to find somewhere that's comfortable with the g37s. Nice, how're you liking all the college kids this time of year? 😂 I live in lone tree which is south of Denver!

I hardly notice the college kids. I live a little north of town and avoid Old Town and the campus for the most part. At least most of them don't drive. Summer tourism is a bigger disruption for traffic and parking, so I'm always glad for fall to get here.
Just got my car back from Import Specialists. She feels pretty jumpy (in a good way)with the new clutch so its like driving a new car!
Let me know if you're ever up this way.
