Newbie

Im 46 live in Endicott, NY, married with 2 daughters...love sports, MMA..music....etc....after driving a Nissan Altima SE for 9 years , I decided it was time to upgrade. Was looking for a G for a few months before finding mine. So far so good, but I think it's time to upgrade the G!

Damn Kenny your G is sick....I had a 05' Altima SE, hard to mod , because it was FWD. I don't think I respected the fact that it FWD. Its nice having a AWD. Not sure what I need or want to do first. I got a nice deal on the G, but these bozos idea of putting on new brakes was turning the front rotors and putting new calipers and pads on the back...rotors need to be replaced(at least I think so), should I keep the originals ??.....at least it was an effort I guess. So first I'm putting new rotors and pads on.... then I'm leaning towards an exhaust, Id rather pay a G for an exhaust than pay $500 for a CAI, right ?? Cant really afford to do both right away....I mean I can....lol...wife and 2 kids

I appreciate the kind words Rich.

As for rhe rotors I'm not sure how many miles you have on your car but they do look a hit rusted out from the picture so I'd recommend just getting new ones. As for an exhaust for $500 on an awd model is tough unless you go with an awd clean back exhaust and not a full catback. It'll still give you the beautiful sound and tone of an exhaust if that's what your aiming for just without the additional hp.

There's alot of options for different Axleback that can be found on this forum as well.

Here's a quick search I did for ya. Just scroll through the pages of threads on this Axleback search and you'll find a bunch of great reviews. Sorry I couldn't pinpoint specific threads but I just got to work. Lol

I've got 56k on the G....as far as the exhaust goes , I just meant instead of using $500 on a CAI, I'd rather use that $500 + towards a cat back exhaust

Well if that's the case JM Auto Racing, who is one of our sponsors here on the forum, has a group buy going on the Ark Grip exhaust! I believe they only have 2 sets left for a sedan.
