Picked up my G37 a couple weeks ago and already have several parts for it on the way. For now all I've done is de-chrome the car (grille, fogs, and spoiler) and green-ify the badges on this stock 2012 G37S Coupe (RWD, 6mt).
I have not done much modification to previous vehicles, but after owning a BRZ for a couple years I caught the drifting bug and bought this car with the intent of making it a car just for back roads and drifting/tracking. Going to take it to the track for the first time this weekend and start to get an idea of what changes are needed beyond the ones I've already planned.
I'll be entering my first local drift event August 13th (a local event called ShredFest) and get a change to test out the new sway bar and exhaust I hope to have installed by then.

My good friends help run the drift events out there and there's a local car meet every other Friday run by scrapeyard check them out! some really cool and chill people. Believe there is one today. If you search scrapeyard on facebook or IG you ll find them.
Shredfest is a good time if you see any of the media crew or a guy drifting a purple Miata tell them Phil said hi.
Welcome man! Im in the Omaha area as well but currently go to school in Chicago. Ill be coming back with my G end of August. Like Phil said not much of a G crew there which makes a modded G unique haha
Ice Cream Cruise is this weekend there so might want to check that out.
Yes, planning on going to the Ice Cream Cruise to hopefully see other VQers and what they are doing with their cars. Also, looks like I should be able to get some cheap track time Sunday via ICC events.
