Just Traded My G35 In.

Hey guys. I'm not new to forums or their rules but I am new to this forum in particular. I just caved and sold my G35 to pick up a 2012 G37S 6MT. She's a dark black and we call her, Jade. So in love with the car so far and I'm still trying to smooth my shifts out. My questions are, is there anything I should know about this car? Anything to be aware of? My 35 was such a great car but any info on these beasts is much appreciated! My clutch/MT can be a little loud in 1st and 2nd but it's sounds like a solid typical machine. Any advice would be great! I read today that the power train is good for 6 years and 70k on these cars. Is that correct? Here are her pictures.

Looks great. Should be a good buy since it is a 2012+ model. Have fun with it!

Nice find! Glad you found us & congrats on that great looking coupe. The DIY section should have a couple clutch improvement projects. Any pics of your 35?

1st to 2nd gear is a little rough on these cars, you can purchase RJM Performance adjustable clutch pedal, it makes it much smoother and it's completely adjustable to you liking. It takes about an hour to put in and can be done as DIY or take it to the mechanic of your choosing. Good luck!

Here's the old G! As far as new mods go I haven't got that far yet. On my old g, I had tsw wheels, red valve covers and red silicone hoses. We did an injen CAI and an hks rep. Subs / radio. As for the new G I think I'm going to focus on protection first. So I'll probably do ceramic pro, and a clear bra to start. No other ideas on mods yet . But I'm thrilled to be a proud new owner of this car. Thanks for all of the welcoming! I'm super thrilled to be here!

Woah!
Dayam congrats!
IMO "Jade" understates the powerful presentation that car makes! Good! It's a sleeper in name.😉

Welcome to the forum and congrats on Jade! Its funny you say that about 1st and 2nd because i've had my 12 6mt for about a week and I was thinking the same thing.

In the same boat as you with smoothing out the shifting but I can only imagine how much you're enjoying the car.
