Just wanted to say hi from the Seattle-area, been lurking the forums for a few months while I was deciding on a new ride. I was able to finally pick up a clean '13 x with 26,000-ish on the clock. I was looking for a nice xS but couldn't find any around, apparently ya'll love it too much to let go! Anyway, no complaints overall.
This is how she sits now:
I cross shopped a sti, evo, g37, 335, S4 and the G won out with a nice balance of style, power, projected cost of ownership, and yes, the ability to seat 5 (somewhat comfortably) in a pinch. I am thinking long term so while the plan would eventually be wheels, coilovers, intake, exhaust, tune (not necessarily in that order), it'll be slow going with a stop at the tint place in the near future.
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new G! You definitely chose to go the right route within the selection you were choosing between. Maybe that's a biased opinion but nevertheless a good one lol. Can't wait to see your future progress.
Welcome to the site and congrats on your purchase, it looks beautiful! There are lots of great choices for parts, service and many owners willing to help you. If we can be any help to you don't hesitate in asking! Good luck with all your plans and keep us posted!
A tune is a waste of money in my opinion unless you do some engine/fuel mods to it. Otherwise enjoy her as she sits as well as the extra cash you save from not doing it.
