Hi Steve, welcome to the site, glad you found us.
As far as lowering, you have the AWD case to deal with so you don't want to drop too deep. Swift & Eibach or good choices for a budget spring drop. KSport, Stance, Fortune 500 coilovers to get exact height adjustment as well as adjustable dampers. Just be ready for a firm ride.

Welcome so with lowering like blnewt states for the simplest form of just lowering it and most affordable I would recommend swift springs because it's a great quality spring with plenty of good reviews especially for the AWD and you can get away with no camber kit due to it being a mild drop. I have them on my RWD sedan and love them, feels more sporty and planted. I have used my tires for 20k already and have great tread wear with good aligment settings. Enjoy the car!

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on the G. I agree with Brad as well for an X model you'll want a subtle yet noticeable drop and the Swift and Eibach serious lowering spring are the way to go.

If you looking to spend more money and go the coilovers route I'd suggest getting a set of Stance SS coilovers as they seem to be the popular choice for us X guys as of recent.

I personally have the Eibach Pro Kit on my X coupe and don't think the ride is stiff at all though I think it's perfect, u less I've just gotten so used to them that I just don't notice them being stiff anymore lol.
