I REALLY want a deeper exhaust note without going too crazy for now. Would you guys agree that a bolt on axle back would be the best way to go for that? I'm not overly concerned with power gains at this time. She sounds a bit too tame for my liking, especially without being close to redline.
The tanabe axle back is a great option for you. It has a nice deep tone that's barely louder than stock. A little pricey for just a rear section but looks and sounds great.

How did you find this gem at this price? I got mine for 15750 with 41 and thought that was a steal! (Was looking for DG or AG color though) Found mine on craigslist, owner was asking 18+, he traded it, and I found it on Cars.com and haggled with the dealer Christmas eve!

Also, my exhaust also makes a small clanking noise when its cold, theres a tsb for the exhaust welds going bad

Im looking for a sport muffler (IPL), those add a nice low end growl to the car! (That or tanabe..dream exhaust is the Motordyene e370, but that costs an arm and leg haha)

Craigslist believe it or not. I've been watching daily for months now and when I came across this one I knew it was special. Seller was motivated and I was ready with cash.

Sadly I don't have a garage so she will be sitting outside moving forward.

That's a beauty! I have the same issue of not having a garage. I'd like to suggest you contact Greg at Discount Car Covers | Big Sky Car Covers. I've bought several covers from them over the years for my MR2 race car, S2000 and most recently my 2008 G37S. They have a number of choices and price points, but I bought and would highly recommend the Covercraft Ultratech for outdoor use in all weather conditions. It fits perfectly and is an excellent cover. Greg's a very nice guy and very knowledgeable. You can tell him AJ sent you!
Good luck.
