Please Help :(

So we just installed swift springs on my g37x and I think we messed up an axle doing so...ticking/clunking coming from the driver side front, and also some smell, and some brown looking gunk coming out underneath. Any insight? No I'm not trolling, I'm just frustrated and pretty bummed. Thanks guys.

You may get a lot more help if you had posted in a more specific location (suspension), been more descriptive in the title line.

Please try again being more descriptive of what you have checked, picture of the gunk, where the gunk is.

Axle sounds right. Did you tear a front axle boot? Please recheck it.

Sorry I'm new to this whole forum thing too, and was in a panos last night so I pulled over and types this. I'm almost certain we tore a boot because of the brown ish gunk, but what about the clunking sound? Same exact sound as a bad strut, but it's definitely not that. Maybe need to shove the axle back in place harder?

Thank you
