My first post :)
If you can feel glue sitting on top of the clearcoat, try heating it up with a heat gun/hair dryer and then using goo gone.
If not, I'd suggest going through the detailing steps (wash, claybar, polish, wax).

This is the best stuff ever for your situation! Take it from somebody who just did the same exact thing on the same exact color G! Takes it off soooooo easily it's ridiculous! I don't need it anymore and only payed $10 for it at an auto part store. It's still a pretty full bottle and I have no need for it anymore. Just cover the shipping which would be like $5 if that and PM me your address and I'll mail it out to you! It really did wonders and took less then 5mins!

Anytime man sorry to hear you're 1st attempt on a mod ended up in this but you live and you learn. I've messed up plenty trying things on my car when I first got it. It really doesnt seem like you took of the clearcoat in the picture you posted up, it just looks like really stuck on adhesive. I would highly consider using the bottle I showed you before trying to sand down that trunk lol Best of luck and keep us posted on how it turns out man!

I wish you the best of luck man. I feel bad you had to go through all of this just over an attempt at de-badging your trunk emblems
keep us posted with the turnout. It took me that bottle I showed you in the picture above, some dental floss and about 10 minutes of my time to do mine.

So as promised I am posting the picture of my powder coated rims "gloss black" plasti dipped front grill and my chrome lip is also plasti dipped black but they will be getting actually painted here hopefully within the next month and a half, I only plasti dipped them to see what it would look like with the rims to see if I would want to paint them in the long run. And as for my trunk I was asking/telling you guys about. My car was in an accident before I had gotten it. The car is fine now and I have not had any issues with it since I got it in July but because of the wreck, it needed to be painted so that is why my clear coat and all that ripped off I was told. So I will be having the whole trunk repainted for 200$ also within the next month. Is that over priced? Or under priced?
And now on to the picture that I made everyone reading this wait for lol sorry
It is a dreary day here in WV so sorry for the crappy pic but it's all i can do for right now.
