I got a 2012 obsidian black g37x a few months ago. Currently has ~59K on it. Pictures aren't too good, I'll try to take better ones once this MN cold weather goes away. Only things currently done are 35% window tint, afe dry filters, and just put in Hotchkis sway bars today! The sways are outstanding! Wow!
My next mod is getting some new wheels. Looking at 18". Either 18x8.5 or 18x8. I've considered getting 19" and dropping but my steep gravel driveway would not agree with that (joys of living in the country side).
I'm really excited to be apart of this awesome community and look forward to enjoying the G and modding!
Nice start! Welcome to the site. If you don't mind running those 17s for winter I'd invest in a bit wider 18" setup for the warm weather. You could run summer tires on some 18x9+40 on 245/45/18s for a nice setup.
Congratulations on your purchase and welcome aboard! You will be happy with your decision, it is a beautiful car. Glad to see you're already making improvements on it!
Good luck with all the future upgrades! Feel free to ask away any questions you have.
Thank you! I'm from the western suburbs, around Maple Grove. It's nice seeing a fellow MN G owner I saw there's a MN G crew sub forum but it doesn't seem to be very active
Yea its a bummer the MN G Crew sub forum seems to have gone stagnant. Check out MNNI, they do meets and events and what not - looks like there a show coming up in April. From what I know most of their activity takes place on FB (unfortunate for me in this case, not a Facebook'er). In any event, good to see a MN presence in the forum. Minnesota Nissan Infiniti
