Talking New G37xS Coupe Member in MA

Hey guys,

Been checking out this website for a year, and finally decided to sign the paper a few months back for a 12' white G37xS Coupe. Still learning a bunch from this site.

Here's the pics:

Just got it

Very nice! Glad you found us. Any other mods planned in the near future?

Just got some led lights from diode dynamics and most likely going to put them on later. Next step should be an OEM spoiler, not really a fan of the chrome. Haven't think about next year mod yet, but I am definitely going to lower it a bit. Any suggestions?

Swift lowering springs are a good choice on a budget for a mild drop.

Since its an X, your options are a bit limited when it comes to lowering. BC coilovers, but that will run you quite a pretty penny, or Swift Springs. (I think there are a few others with the coilovers, but not 100% sure which companies support the X)

Depending on the miles on the car, might need to upgrade the shocks too with the springs (although being 2012, should be ok) as long as you're not above like 80-100k, think it will be ok. Basically if your shocks are near death and you have to swap those out too, the coilovers will be a cheaper way to go in the long run. The install on the X will be pricey, the front suspension is a pain in the *** because of the awd. My install took like 4 hours by a specialized infiniti/nissan only shop. So if the shocks are close to death, and you will have to swap them out within the next year, the overall cost of labour and parts, having to do the job twice, might just be cheaper to get the coilovers.

Now that my rant is over Welcome to the forums. Looks like you got yourself a gorgeous car.

What part # for the Swift springs, please? I have a '13 G37xS coupe and am having trouble figuring out my limited options.

OP: Beautiful car!

I think it looks great as is. If you decide to lower it, don't lower it too much. A little ground clearance comes in handy for snowy winters.

Welcome to the forum, fellow MA inhabitant. Check the regional forums (NorthEAst) for info on shops, greet and meets, and the like.

Right now, between Binney and Broadway in Cambridge, otherwise Pepperell... the town only known for its airport and jump school.

I'm near the Lechmere T Station.

I was behind a beautiful white G sedan last night on East Street. It had a spoiler and vanity plate that read Q-something. Odd, seeing as it wasn't a Q40 or Q50.

It was definitely one of the most tastefully modified G sedans I've seen. I wonder if the owner is a member here.

I am out in the metrowest (Westborough area) but occasionally do go to Allston/Brighton area during the weekend. I do notice a lot of G sedan around my area, but mostly driven by soccer mom. Maybe saw 5 Coupes in the last 3 months I owned this car.
