Need help, first post to forum

I have been on the website reading and learning since I got my car a year ago. And I decided it's time for me to post, I am from New Haven, CT and I own a 2007 g35x. I got into a fender bender yesterday And the other car was at fault. My headlight, bumper and fender were damaged. I have read some people do the 2010 + conversion of the front end of these circumstances, but I'm curious how I should go about talking to shops if I want to do that, this is my first car, so I'm fairly new at these sort of things

Depends on the shop, many will just replace w/ exact replacements based on the VIN# or year/model of car.
If not, then you may be able to switch over, it's about $2500 when all the dust settles if you were to buy the parts on your own & paint match.
BTW, welcome to the site.

Thanks! I have heard good things about this tuner shop called "the shop" in Norwalk here in CT. I'm gonna go by there and see what they have to say!
