Hello & Introduction! (new guy)
Hello & Introduction! (new guy)
Hi everyone! I picked up a 2013 G37xS in Dec of 2014, as a replacement for my aging Accord. Really enjoying it so far, and it does exactly what I want - makes the commute relaxing regardless of weather and has the ability to put a smile on my face. I was looking at a number of vehicles before my purchase, with the new WRX or a 2013 A4 also in the running.
I've been lurking and reading for some time now, and really appreciate the participation and helpful information provided. I have my LED kit from Diode Dynamics already, just waiting for some dry weather to install them. Also going to get a grounding kit soon. I'm waiting until warmer weather to do tint and clear bra, I'm suspicious the cold and damp weather here in the winter won't be good for a quality install/adhesion. Also looking to do a DIY mount for my old Escort 8500.
Anyway, thanks again for the quality site and looking forward to learning more about my car and improvement projects in 2015!

Finally got tired of waiting for a nice weekend, and installed my interior, trunk and license LEDs. I was impressed with the quality of the DD LEDs, and the light output is exactly what I wanted. I went with Cool White all around, and used lower output for the interior and license, higher output for the trunk and doors.
The trunk is probably my favorite since it is so dark in there due to the all black lining, and it is constantly dark here, so finding stuff can be a pain. Now I open the trunk and I can see everything, including the dirt. But that's my problem, not DD's!
I still need to do my reverse lights, and I'll take some photos once it's all installed.
Install was a breeze thanks to the DIY instructions posted by members - thank you!
Cheers!
Will
