Hey all.

I just bought CPO 2011 G37x Graphite Shadow with premium package 48k mileage 2 days ago.

I had 2004 g35 few years ago and I used to visit myg35.com a lot.

AND I FOUND THIS WEBSITE!!

So far so good.. but few problems.. T_T

1) Trunk / Exhaust is not even!!!! I talked to dealership about this and they said they can't do anything about it since it doesn't affect any performance of the car. EVEN IF I HAD BUMPER TO BUMPER/CPO/ELITE WRAP WARRANTY!!

2) The rattling noise from engine(?) bottom of the car..
Now I know that this noise is common from G series' powerful engine. I'm sure its from the engine. But its so annoying when you are in the car just idling.. all you hear is this rattling noise!!! I hope I can fix that when I go to dealership.

Anyways.. I love it. Nice to meet you all.

P.S. Is Elite Wrap warranty worth it? (I have CPO). I feel like its not really worth it for me since I do not have Navigation. Any idea?

 

Congrats on the purchase. You're probably stuck on number one though they may have addressed if you mentioned it before you purchased.

I can't speak for anyone else but I don't have a rattle at idle or any other time, I would definitely ask them to take a look at it.

 

Moved here for a proper intro, congrats on the new X. Got pics of the trunk & exhaust alignment? The dealer should address cosmetic issues too, I'd try another dealer.

I tried two different dealorshops and they said they will charge me.. I even talked to the general manager where I bought my car..
I think I'm stuck with those..

Carfax is clean. It was CPO. I bought this car exatly a week ago. I didn't know at first because it was dark.. and next day or so I realized that trunk is uneven (when you close the trunk, its more to right side) and exhaust is slightly not even (I went to another dealorahop to check and they told me it looks like it hit something. However there is nothing wrong with the performance of the car; not going tp fix it for free)

What should I do? Or what can I do to fix this problem? Should I just pay my own money to fix it? Or maybe call national customer service? T.T

 

Nice congrats man and welcome. There are trunk adjustment bushing bump stops like the hood see if you can adjust those to make it even may have just moved around from the miles?

 

If the car was hit and they sold it as CPO with warranty I would think they would be liable. It's false advertising. They are saying the car has been inspected and reconditioned to nearly new. You may want to call the corp office and complain.
