Hello, I am Mike, I am 41, and just bought my 08 G37 on Saturday 9/24. Its a RWD model with 53k on it. Paid 18k out the door. Already have pics in my profile if you want to check it out. Traded in a 2006 Honda Accord on it, as I bought that in a desperate moment.

A little background on me though. In my days, I have owned a 95 Corvette, a 91 and 92 Mustang 5.0 (conv and coupe), a 95, 97, and 98 Z28, a 03 Cavalier, a 06 Cobalt SS, a 07 Dodge Ram, 89 Ford Ranger, and now the Infiniti. Started racing in my camaro days, then got into drifting and showing off. My youtube channel is full of my exploits. I have been 157 and sideways at 100. But now that I am older, wiser, and a CDL driver, those days are behind me. I wanted to have power, luxury, and comfort so after months of research, I chose the Infiniti. Damn glad I did!

Thought I would share some images I have. I have quite a few in my garage but showing them on the forum is nice as well.

Cleaned it all up today but no pics taken, will go out again tomorrow and get a whole new set. The last image is at the dealer when I was trading in my Honda.

p.s. - saw the thread about a guy who paid 18k for his 08 with 50k miles. Sounded similar to me except I have all documentation showing my price, and the cars stats. Wanted to keep that to myself but figured, what the hell, I am proud of my Infiniti and the deal I got.

 

Nice to meet you Mike and welcome to the site. That's quite a list of cars you've been thru there. As you can guess I like the newest addition the best. Feel free to post up some pics from your wilder days driving sideways at a Hundo. That's cool. I had my G35 coupe at damn near 157, then a Truck driver decided to switch lanes so I had to let off.

Speaking of sharing and learning....I noticed my 2012 G37 starts to accelerate really slowly once at the 140 level. I'm sure that's normal for my model but I wonder if the 08's had the same limiter on the engine or whatever it's is? Any experience with your new baby at the 140+ level!? Anybody else want to chime in?
