I'm the newest newb! ^_^V

Hey everyone! Just got my new baby this weekend!

I'm new to the Infiniti gang and forums in general.

Unfortunately my car didn't come with a manual (-__-) but I'll find a copy online and read it as soon as I get some time on my day off!

Planning to keep it stock but I am comtemplating some Vossen CV3 wheels.

Let me know if you have any tips!

P.S. Did you name your car? To me, my G37 looks like he would be called Yung Thugga

Congrats on that nice clean G, always a fan of those split spoke 18" wheels too
Welcome to the site and FWIW I'd consider lowering your G if you want to get the Vossens, larger rims on these cars don't always look as nice at stock height

Congrats and welcome home! As stated earlier, larger rims usually don't look "right" unless you lower the car onto them a little bit. I used Eibach Pro springs to lower my sedan. IMO it's a tasteful, & modest drop that makes the my Vossens "fit" better with the look of the car. Enjoy the ride!

Some additional newb questions

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Yeah, I was thinking if I get new wheels installed I definitely would also consider lowering my car an inch. It's a big project, no? Do you also have to adjust the camber?

Also, I feel like the dealership I got my g37 from just keeps getting shadier and shadier. For example:

- Didn't include the FSM
- Didn't even fill up my tank before I drove off (had 1/4 tank left)
- I just discovered the windshield was replaced and the "detailing" team didn't even wash off the "x" markings off the windshield. I bought this car used so I'm not sure if it was the previous owner who changed the windshield or the dealership did so. If they're not going to bother washing the markings off, shouldn't they disclose the windshield is not OEM?

Also, I'm having trouble connecting my Samsung Galaxy S5 through the USB Aux to my car (no GPS, so no music streaming ) It's driving me nuts! Did a small look around and it seems like Android users are just down on their luck in this department. Anyone else experience this and is there a way to fix this besides using an iPod/thumbdrive?

I really just want to have audio broadcasted from my phone through my speakers whether it's music or GPS directions.

Sorry to hear of your dealership issues, hopefully everything else is fine w/ your G.
As far as lowering, I would recommend the F&R camber arms and rear toe bolts. There's plenty of options to lower your ride, if you or a friend can do the install it will run about $1000 for the springs, camber sets and alignment.
Here's a good folder to browse for that
