Hey all, Just wanted to stop in and say hello. I'm a long time gear head and new to the G37 world. I'm a die hard chevy guy and spend most of my time working on my Silverado. I also have a 1988 Honda TRX 250r. Quads and dirtbikes have been the only imports I have really ever worked on. This G is actually my girlfriend's car.... I've been into modding cars for ages and although I'm new to the G37 I already enjoy modding this car. Its a very quick and comfortable car that has a lot of potential.

As a side job/passion I do a lot of detailing, mostly maintenance wash and waxes but with some paint correction here and there. This G has had a hard life with countless swirl inducing washes and being victimized in mall parking lots. I have not had enough time to do a complete paint correction because of how abused this paint is but in time I will be able to complete it...

So modding as of now is:
-LED DRL
-HID fog lights
-LED interior lights

Near future mods-
-New rims
-Aftermarket exhaust

My girlfriend has no need to have anything crazy done to her car. I just want to make it super clean for her with a super clean style.

Welcome to the site, nice that your GFs G is getting proper care now. The Inifiniti paint is pretty fragile, especially w/ chips.
Glad you found us

Yessir it certainly is. The front bumper is destroyed with rock chips. Her rear bumper is tweaked from getting hit so I plan on getting new bumpers and have them painted. I live in NJ so the winters are harsh, once the new bumpers are on I'll plasti dip them for the winter to protect them from some of the salt that will inevitably come and try and chip the paint
