New Frenchy Canadian with a G37xS

Hi to all, my name is Christian, I live in a town named St-Jérôme 30 minutes north of Montréal in Québec, Canada and I just bought a black G37xS+Nav 2009 sedan.

I searched a lot in this forum since about 2 weeks now, and you've been really helpfull to me

It's my 7th "Nissan" in a row, before I had 3 240SX (91,89,97) and 3 Maxima (97,98,02) My last car, my 2002 maxima (that is now for sale at cheap price because of the rust) was almost perfect to me, I only wished it to be AWD and turn more ! No need to say how much I'm satisfied with my new G ! I might miss the clutch, but for all the rest of it, I'ts not comparable at all with the Maxima.

I don't know if I'm gonna change something on it soon or not, I wanted to register to this forum to see projects and to find awnsers to upcoming questions. I wish I was more manual talented to do small stuff like instaling LED DRL etc... but I'll start by only drive the car around and have fun with it

Here's few cellphone cheap photos for now :Name: 20140611_174527_zpsvwujgoqk.jpg

And here's with my 02 Maxima

And I have one question, I didn't saw the wing that I have on other's G for sale in my area, does it look it's something stock from Infiniti or aftermarket ? Cause the right half of the braking light in it are not working and I was wondering if I should go to a Infiniti dealer to fix it or if they will not know that wing.

Thanks !

Welcome to the site Christian, nice history of Nissans you've got there

As far as the spoiler, they offered that type spoiler for a couple years, not sure if that's a true factory spoiler but there was one that was that style.

At any rate, enjoy the G and glad you found us.

169 000km so 105 000miles that's a lot for it's age but that's the reason I could afford a G37 I bought it 16 300$ Canadian. Even if last winter was really long, now I wish for snow to come ! haha But car itself is really clean and well maintained, the interior is almost brand new and I love the seats !!!!! I only wish I had a 2010 for the bluetooth mp3 streaming, fog light and sonar but it's only because I know I almost had it for only one year of difference !

That's a good price! You guys in Quebec(I'm in BC) always seem to get cheaper deals. haha

I was monitoring Autotrader for months before I decided to buy mine.

169000 is nothing. I had a G35 with 300KM+. Nissans run forever if you take care of them.

Are you planning to use synthetic oil?

Yes, nothing cheaper than synthetic oil and premium gaz will go into my G ! Even my rusty Maxima deserved that

same car and name as me :P

first on the agenda, lower it and spacers (and possibly camber kit)
diagnosing spoiler wiring definitely doesn't require a dealership
