Hello.
I am new to the forum and looking to get an g37. I came across this 2011 ipl that looked nice but seemed fishy.
I doesn't have a lot of the same stuff like rims, seats, engine cover, etc. Plus it has on the rear the ipl and G37S badge. Never seen a g37s badge on any other ipl models I looked up. However according to the dealership and vin# is it as stated an IPL g37. Just doesn't feel right. Looks like g37 with aero package to me after doing some research. Please let me know if you have seen this before here are a few pics I got

 

you can buy the IPL badge for like $35. maybe that's what someone did. also doesn't look like it has the bigger exhaust tips. maybe look up a carfax on it if your interested, see if there is any other fishyness?

 

I think that's GTLAW's old IPL. He spent around twenty bajillion dollars for that package. Said it was just like the IPL and he even had the engine tuned

lol the fact that theres an s after g37 indicates that it isnt a ipl.

 

I agree with lightlypurified...it should be either or....not both.

 

Don't know why the dealership would be saying that this is a IPL? There are many things that give this away that it is not a IPL. Keep looking! GL

 

Not IPL. IPL is an upgraded S. Shouldn't be a G37S badge w/ OIL. Good luck with purchase.

 

Plus, the wheels are from the sport package. IPL wheels are different and a gunmetal type color.

 

Dealerships lie, trust me on that one!
It's still a fine looking car.
