New to Forum - My Story

Hello All
Just purchased a Liquid Platinum 08 G37S 6MT with 60K mi. I love Nissans/Infiniti. My first experience with a VQ motor was my 96 Nissan maxima 5spd I had a few years ago(see pic). I embarrassed many unsuspecting cars that wanted to race(car was lightened, full bolt-ons and 50 shot N20, etc).....and she never gave me any mechanical trouble(well went through 2 trannies)..lol. From there it was a done deal. I attached picks of what I had less than a year ago. I had purchased a mint 04 mint Laser Red Infiniti G35 6MT with track package. Sadly it was totaled, being hit from behind in a traffic accident. Thank God I am alive and no serious injuries(person that hit me is ok too). That brings us present to my G37S...Nice to meet all of you and I hope I can contribute to this forum in a way that will help others, and I know from previous forums G35/Maximaforums that the Nissan/Infiniti forums are some of the coolest and down to earth people...EVER.
Welcome! I also had a Nissan as my first car, a 1984 300ZX Datsun-Nissan actually and always dreamed of the GT-Rs, I'm not there yet but working my way up. Also, what Sam said, that G made me cringe and think of when I got T-boned, glad you came out of that one!
Hope your'e happy with your new G she looks clean. I'm guessing you might want to start modding it, what are your plans for her?

Thanks everyone, and @cecrops I would like to do full bolt-ons and eventually a tune. Right now I just installed a SRI and I love the sound....but I think it would be better to get a CAI. Swapped all interior/exterior lights over to LEDs already. Cosmetic wise I haven't decided yet, but to start \I'm looking to de-badge. I see you can get 370GT emblems but Infiniti is plastered everywhere on the car...lol
Oh I also did the DIY on clutch fluid change to Dot 4...world of difference with the clutch!!
