Hello from the UK

Hi from the UK, Well as a newbie to owning an Infiniti and a G37S it seemed on right to join a forum and hear the positive tales on ownership and maybe hear a few woes too. The G37 Coupe is very rare here with only around 200 on the roads in all guises. My ride is a UK Spec Right Hand Drive Premium S 7 Speed Auto with the gearing and the suspension set up for our twisty narrow potholed roads. Its Athens Blue with 19" Rims and is fully loaded for a UK car. Hopefully I will fall in love with my car after owning an SLK350 AMG for a few years, who knows. Hope to join in and talk to owners and if there are any other UK owners here, say hi. I understand that we are as rare as hens teeth

Are there a lot of Infinitis in the UK? I think there is only one service center there.

Post more pics!

There are around 5 dealers across the UK now all offering first class service with a 150 mile collection delivery service for annual routine service.
As for number of other Infiniti's they are fairly rare, on a 180 mile drive I saw one FX35 and that was it. Pretty rare cars here.

What!? This definitely should shut the right hand left hand badging issue people. Right hand skylines badged infiniti

There's too many inconsistencies with the badging of the skyline/infiniti. Therefore badge it as is the owners wish

gill please keep your obsession contained to your thread. It's just fine in there but please leave it out of other peoples' normal threads. Thanks.

The G350 or G35 or Skyline here was a Japan import only, they never released them for sale in the UK.
Infiniti is a new brand here so with the new brand they have launched everything with the Infiniti badge to avoid confusion. So the 370 is the G37 here.
However our specs and names appear very different it seems. Whilst you guys have more power than we do , ours are detuned to 316bhp our are set up for faster handling and response with Nissan specialists tuning the suspension to suit the twisty narrow UK roads. So we lose some, win others. Only criticism so far is the auto change, just not as fast as the DSG boxes that seem to be fitted to most cars these days.

Welcome aboard!

Are you telling me you guys get a sportier UK-specific variant? I doubt Nissan would spend that R&D money given the volumes in the UK.

Seems we like our cars better finished than the US bound versions according to Nissan!

Infiniti G37S | evo Car Reviews | Car Reviews | evo

"This is a US-spec car and Nissan’s design centre is working on improving perceived quality for cars destined for Europe, including softer, matt-finish leather, deeper pile carpets and some improved switchgear. There will be dynamic revisions too. Though the basics are already very promising, development engineers at the Nissan Technical Centre Europe at Cranfield, Bedfordshire, are concentrating on fine-tuning the damping and the four-wheel-steer system with the intention of making the G37S more nimble at medium speeds and more stable in high-speed lane-change manoeuvres."
