i just transitioned from a 2008 civic si to a g37x sedan. I was on a civic forum and most people there were not helpful and disrespectful towards eachother but im hoping this forum can help with questions i have with the car.

Welcome to the forum. Here, you'll mostly get treated as you treat others. If you respect the members who were good enough to share their knowledge with everyone by posting it here on the forum, and search for and read that information that's already here and free for the taking, you'll be fine. If you ask silly questions or you refuse to look up the info you want to know, some people will take issue with you. Even more will ignore you. But everyone should be treated with respect.

If you have a noob question, post it here in the noob forum. You'll won't get flamed there. And people who enjoy helping noobs will be there to help without making you feel too stupid.

Are there any meets in the north jersey area. I'm not really sure if during the winter there are but maybe spring ?

Could the disrespect have been a "joisey" thing? I'm just kidding, former exit 117er here. This forum has been great to me so far, a lot of camaraderie and excellent advice. The criticsm, I think has always been constructive and delivered politely. Stick with that and you'll do well I'm sure. I met up with a member when I was in NJ a couple months ago and have seen a couple others I think there was talk of an Edison meet but I could be wrong. Wasn't Infiniti specific though. As Black Betty mentioned check the regional sub forums.
